The Fish

The Talking Fish is outfitted for both inshore and offshore fishing. Techniques include trolling, bottom fishing, and live baiting. Most offshore fishing entails trolling teasers, lures, baits, and baited lures for sailfish, marlin, dorado or mahi-mahi, tuna, and wahoo.

Inshore fishing will involve trolling lighter lures, feathers, squids, and plugs for jacks, mackerel, dorado, tuna, amberjack, and other species, and baitfish such as oceanic Bonita, blue runner, and skipjack. Bottom fishing for grouper, snapper, amberjack, shark, and roosterfish will use either live bait slow-trolled over shallow rocks, or baited bottom rigs drifted over deep rocks.
